React Developer (m/f)

We are hiring a full-time JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. The developer will join a team to work on an ongoing project for our client in Australia.

SKILLS

Must have

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Familiarity with code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}
• Good spoken English, as well as documentation writing and editing skills in English

Desirable

• Data processing architectures, PostgreSQL, Regex, Hadoop and Go-lang
• Experience and understanding of Agile Methodology
• Experience with environment tools and middleware like Jira, Jenkins and SonarQube
• Experience with various AWS services and understand the challenges of deploying large applications in the cloud

Nice to have

• Knowledge of isomorphic React
• Experience with backend languages and frameworks such as NodeJS, Java, Python or any others
• Linux

RESPONSIBILITES

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
