Job description

We are looking for a qualified Senior Software Engineer to join our existing team with a goal to develop and maintain high quality desktop and server applications. Working on this position, you’ll collaborate with internal teams to develop functional desktop and server applications, while working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, have a consistent track record of delivery and excellent software engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support);

• Produce fully functional desktop and server applications writing clean code;

• Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions;

• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance;

• Design interfaces to improve user experience;

• Liaise with Product and Project Managers to plan new features;

• Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards;

• Research and suggest new products, applications and protocols;

• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends;

• Understand business needs and know how to create the tools to manage them;

• Work collaboratively with others to achieve goals;

• Be a persistent, creative problem ­solver;

To be considered for this role you'll need to meet the following criteria:

• Proven work experience as a Software engineer in development of server and/or desktop applications (client-server architecture)
• In-depth knowledge of C++
• Desirable: knowledge of: Qt (https://www.qt.io), all 3 operating systems (Linux, Windows and MAC), SIP, SQL, VoIP, Git, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
• Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
• Ability to perform in a team environment

Master’s/BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field

Work experience

Minimum 3 years
