Our office in Sarajevo, the development center of BPU Holdings, has a team of experts that are working on developing software for AEI (artificial emotional intelligence). Since we have demanding projects that require not only top-level knowledge but also a passion for continuous learning and advancement, we are looking for talents who will live the mission and vision that we nurture and grow with us.

Essential functions 

• Designs/codes applications following specifications using the appropriate tools,
• Maintains and modifies existing applications without supervision as well as under,
• Direction from senior staff members,
• Perform maintenance programming for existing version,
• Performs custom programming at customer request,
• Assumes responsibility for ongoing data architecture for a product.

Technology Requirements 

• Java 8, Spring, Maven/Gradle - ( Required for JAVA applicants),
• Python, Flask, Django  - ( Required for Python applicants),
• Messaging & queues (Kafka, ActiveMQ, MQTT, etc) - optional,
• Relational and NoSQL base (MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, HBase/Hadoop etc) - optional,
• Platforms: Spark and Apache Storm - optional,
• Knowledge of NLP - optional,
• Knowledge of AI/ML algorithms - optional.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s of science in computer or equivalent on-the-job experience,
• Minimum three years of experience working with currently used technological products.
