System Administrator (m/f)

Institute for Technical Informatics (www.iti.tugraz.at), Technical University of Graz, Austria (www.tugraz.at), seeks to fill one position as

Technician / System Administrator

by May 1, 2018 or later. 

A 50% (20 hours per week) employment is tenured, an upgrade up to 100% (40 hours per week) can be agreed. The gross salary is 1000,80 EUR at 50%, respectively 2001,60 EUR at 100% employment (payed 14 times per year) and increases with time of experience.

Work duties:

•  Installation & maintenance of Windows/Linux systems, networks, virtualization solutions, web services
•  Installation & maintenance of lab equipment (information and communication technologies) for research and education
•  In case of interest programming (C, Python, scripting, etc.) and hardware development (PCB layout, soldering etc.)

Requirement:

•  Completed high school education with focus on a technical subject (electronics, electrical engineering, or informatics) or similar by start of work contract
• Good English or German knowledge
